โ Nia Nal[src]

Nia Nal was born to Isabel Nal and Paul Nal and inherited Naltorian powers from her mother.[1]
In high school, Nal kept to herself and coped with stress by singing 9 to 5, her favorite song.[1]
Joining the Super Friends[edit source]
In 2019, Nal joined the Super Friends and used her powers as Dreamer. Later, she came out as transgender and inspired countless transgender people across the country.[4] At some point, Nal also had an exclusive interview with CatCo as Dreamer.[5]
At some point after joining the team, Nal and Querl Dox began a relationship and nicknamed the latter "Wildcat".[6][7]
Crisis on Infinite Earths[edit source]
In January 2020, Nal was tasked to cover the Peace Award and called Kara Danvers as the latter was minutes late. She then applauded Lex Luthor not knowing that he was a terrorist in the Original Multiverse.[8]
Hours later, Nal was given her Pre-Crisis counterpart's memories and participated in the battle against the Anti-Monitor.[8]
Relationship with Brainy[edit source]
BraiNalc 5s of the Multiverse[edit source]
Weeks after the Crisis, Nal and Dox went for a walk at the shore and met other versions of Dox. Nal and them later arrived at the DEO headquarters and found out more of them were in the facility. Nal then worked with multiple versions of them and was attacked by the Dox who attempted to restore his Earth on Earth-Prime. Nal was then rescued by Dox-Prime and was sent to the med lab for further recovery.[6]
During the battle, Nal returned to the field as Dreamer and fought against the three Kryptonian witches. When Dox-Prime was injured during the battle, Nal comforted him and convinced him to disable his Personality Inhibitors. Dox then removed them and reverted to his true form.[6]
After the fight, Dox went to Nal's apartment and talked to her. He then surprised her and broke up with her in order for him to actually understand his feelings. Not knowing it was a way to defeat Lex Luthor and Leviathan, Nal accepted the break-up and let Dox leave the apartment.[6]
Wildcat Dreams[edit source]
When Nal started using her powers in order to find the rogue Toyman, she started having dreams of wildcats, a nickname she gave to Dox during their relationship. She was then overwhelmed by Dox's presence in the Tower and went out to the balcony. Winn Schott then approached her and told her about the future of her descendants, as well as giving her advices to overcome the relationship.[7]
Nal and Schott then left to the battle. Schott then fought a tiger robot using his Oneiric Energy Legion Ring. Nal was fascinated by what her powers could actually do and continued the battle.[7]
Anti-Transgender Hate Crimes[edit source]
After her roommate, Yvette Turner was attacked by an anti-transgender hate group member, Nal attempted to kill the criminal for justice by luring her out using dating apps. Despite Supergirl's multiple attempts to convince her otherwise, Nal continued her plan and was able to locate Bauer's whereabouts. Nal then attacked him using her powers, only to be stopped by Supergirl and brought Bauer to justice.[4]
Leviathan and Lex Luthor[edit source]
During Leviathan and Luthor's attempt to kill Supergirl, Nal fought against both of them and continuously had dreams of Dox laughing on the Leviathan Ship. During the battle, Nal was able to defeat several Leviathan members and realized that the dreams were in fact, flashes of Dox's death. As the offense team gets overwhelmed by Leviathan, they disappeared thanks to Dox. She then informed them and went to rescue Dox.[9]
Moments later, Nal went to the Leviathan Ship and attempted to rescue Dox. Dox then warned her about the radiation of the ship, which she ignored and damaged the security systems using astral projection. She quickly collapsed on the ground and the Super Friends arrived, with M'gann M'orzz brining Nal, Dox and Alex Danvers away from the radiation. Gamemnae was then defeated by Supergirl using a microchip containing the Anti-Life Equation.[10]
No More Secrets[edit source]
Returning to the Tower, Nal and the team reunited with Lena Luthor. During the conversation, Nal had a dream of Luthor as the Anti-Monitor destroying planets. Nal later talked to Dox, who gave her his Legion Ring for "safekeeping", saying it might come in handy during battles. Nal then went to the Lex Luthor Bunker on Shelley Island with Alex Danvers to retrieve the Bottle. The two were then faced by Otis Graves and Lillian Luthor until the headaches caused by the satellites started, overwhelming the two. However, J'onzz and M'orzz were able to destroy all satellites at once and allow Alex Danvers to electrify Graves' neck, allowing them to take the Bottle from them.[10]
Nal then arrived at the Fortress of Solitude and fought Lex Luthor, who was quickly defeated when Alex Danvers released the energy from the Bottle. However, Supergirl was hit with the Phantom Zone Projector and trapped in the Phantom Zone.[10]
Nal then returned to the Tower and reconciled with Dox, who promised Nal no more secrets and explained the reason he worked with Lex. At night, Nal went to CatCo Plaza and covered Kara's disappearance as going to Cat Grant for a special interview.[10]
