Mon-El is a vigilante and a former member of the Super Friends. After being sent to the 31st century during the Daxamite Invasion, Mon-El established and led the Legion of Super-Heroes, eventually returning to his home period to assist Supergirl's war against Reign.

- Daxamite Physiology: Like Kryptonains, Mon-El's Daxamite physiology grants him a variety of superpowers when exposed to a yellow sun.[7]
- Solar Energy Absorption: Daxamites are able to absorb solar energy from yellow suns and convert the energy as strength for powers.[7]
- Accelerated Healing Factor: Upon removal of a lead bullet from his arm, Mon-El's wounds healed almost immediately, demonstrating his accelerated healing factor.[3]
- Electrosynthesis: While comatose, Mon-El repaired his body on a cellular level by absorbing surrounding electrical energy and converting them to chemical energy.[11]
- Flight: Mon-El has the ability to fly at a high speed, as shown when he charged towards CatCo Plaza to defend Supergirl from Overgirl.[6]
- Superhuman Durability: Mon-El is near invulnerable to all kinds of weapons on Earth, and even sustained little damage after a battle against Livewire.[9] However, Mon-El, like other Daxamites, is extremely vulnerable to lead, with them suffering similar effects as a Kryptonian when exposed to Green Kryptonite.[12] Thankfully, after using technology from the 25th century, Mon-El's vulnerability to lead has been eradicated.[5]
- Superhuman Reflexes: Mon-El is capable of responding to attacks much faster than an average person.[3]
- Superhuman Speed: Mon-El can move and fly at an exceptional speed, appearing as a blur to the naked eye.[3]
- Superhuman Strength: While disoriented, Mon-El was able to easily free himself from DEO custody with his superior strength.[11] He was also able to hold his own against Supergirl, who similarly possesses superhuman strength thanks to her Kryptonian physiology.[3]

- Hand-to-Hand Combat: While not a talented combatant initially, Mon-El underwent extensive training with Supergirl during his time on Earth.[9] After being sent to the 31st century, Mon-El became an expert in hand-to-hand combat, acquiring unique fighting patterns and even teaching Supergirl some of his new skills.[14]
- Stick-Fighting: Mon-El was able to defend himself from Daxamite guards by wielding one of their battle staffs.[16]
