Dr. Jonathan Crane, also known as the Scarecrow, is a criminal from Gotham City who created the powerful chemical called Fear Toxin.

At some point, he became a colleague of August Cartwright, created the chemical known as Fear Toxin and became the criminal known as Scarecrow.[1]
At some point before 2020, the Scarecrow hacked into the internal computers on Gotham City's trains which caused the city to modify them to run on an "independent analog system".[2]

- Genius Level Intellect: Jonathan is extremely intelligent due to his background as a physician and is known for his ruthless plans that terrorise Gotham City.[1]
- Chemistry: Jonathan is a proficient chemist as he was able to synthesise his own chemical known as Fear Toxin.[1]
- Computer Specialist: Jonathan is a capable hacker as shown when he hacked the internal computers on Gotham City's trains.[2]
