Dealing with Riddler[edit source]
In 1966, the Riddler lent Peale a cross to use in a show and, once he was finished with it, invited him to his office to return it. Whilst there, Nigma offered to light a cigarette for him with a gun-shaped lighter, which Batman mistook for a real gun. After Nigma revealed that this was a trap, he served Batman with legal papers alleging assault, slander, and false arrest.[1]
