When Batman was still in Gotham, Diane was those that supported him for being a symbol of hope.[1]
Sophie Coming Out[edit source]
When her daughter Sophie was suspended from the Crows, Diane went to visit her and learned about the break-up with her husband which disappointed her and even more when Sophie told her that it was her call. She was frustrated to learn that Sophie support Batwoman as she is a lesbian and the total opposite of Batman by her point of view. Days later, Sophie would tell her that she was gay which disappointed Diane. Angered, she left her apartment.[1]
