Carter Hall, better known as Hawkman, was a vigilante and a member of the Justice Society of America.

At some point, Carter Hall became a member of the Justice Society of America and befriended Stripesy.[3]
Later, Hall, the Spectre, Doctor Fate, Hawkgirl and Alan Scott fought Eclipso. However, they failed and the JSA was forced to vote whether they should kill Bruce Gordon to stop Eclipso.[4]
On December 24, 2010, Hall and the rest of the Justice Society were lured into a battle at an abandoned mansion by their arch-enemies, the Injustice Society of America.[5] During the battle, Hall was killed by Brainwave.[1]
